General Information

Welcome to Sweet Surprise Cupcakes. By accessing or placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Products & Services
  • Our menu rotates weekly, with new flavours available every Sunday.
  • We also offer custom cakes and catering services, which require advanced ordering and consultation.
  • All products are made in a home kitchen that may process allergens such as nuts, dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs. Customers with allergies should contact us before placing an order.
Ordering Policy
  • Weekly Menu Orders: Must be placed through the website before the weekly cut off (as listed online).
  • Custom Cake Orders: Require detailed information, including design vision, inspiration images, pickup/delivery date, and a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm the order.
  • Custom Orders: must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
  • Catering Orders: Must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
Payments
  • We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and select third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Klarna, Afterpay).
  • For custom cakes and catering, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at pickup/delivery.
  • All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Pickup & Delivery
  • Customers may choose pickup from our home bakery in Greater Grand Crossing, Chicago IL, or delivery (within designated service areas).
  • Delivery fees apply and vary by distance.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
Refunds & Cancellations
  • Weekly Menu Orders: Non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Custom Cakes & Catering: Deposits are non-refundable. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date will be charged in full.
  • Refunds will only be considered in the case of product quality issues, and must be reported within 24 hours of pickup/delivery with photos as evidence.
Allergen Disclaimer

Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs. By purchasing, customers acknowledge this risk and Sweet Surprise Cupcakes is not liable for allergic reactions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and designs — is the property of Sweet Surprise Cupcakes and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through orders, forms, or newsletters will only be used to process transactions and improve customer experience. We will not sell or share your information with third parties.

Limitation of Liability

  • Damages caused by customer mishandling of products after pickup/delivery.
  • Delays or cancellations due to circumstances outside of our control (e.g., weather, traffic, emergencies).
  • Allergic reactions.
