Passion to Purpose
My name is YaKiyah Jones, and I am the proud founder of Sweet Surprise Cupcakes LLC, a Black woman–owned home bakery on the South Side of Chicago. Baking has been my passion since the age of nine, when I first taught myself through countless YouTube tutorials. What began as a hobby sharing sweet treats with family and friends quickly blossomed into something bigger. By eighth grade, I had officially formed Sweet Surprise Cupcakes
